The school year is back in full swing but that doesn’t stop me from delving into new goodies. I’ve had the sweet pleasure of snacking on Welch’s Fruit Rolls and Aloha bars while keeping my hair shiny and soft with the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer. My favorite thing about the Oasis box is the vibrant packaging. Each product jumps out in the box creating fun, summer-y vibes.
My favorite product are the Welch’s Fruit Rolls. They are a tasty snack that are reminiscent of your favorite childhood candies. However, the snack is much healthier with fruit being the first ingredient while also containing 100% of the daily recommended value of vitamin C. The tropical punch flavor is a must try – I’ve put the entire box on my grocery list!
I am not a huge fan of fragrances so I was iffy when I saw the two Vera Wang Embrace scents in the box. The Green Tea & Pear Blossom and Marigold & Gardenia were a bit too powder-y of a scent for my liking and reminding me of a more mature smell. Nonetheless, the scents did give an air of freshness and sophistication.
The next product is the Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation. Unfortunately, I was sent the shade ‘cool tan’ which couldn’t be further from the wrong shade. Even then, the shade range is not up to par with only ‘tawny’ and ‘steep stable’ as options. I can say that after swatching the foundation, it is lightweight and matte. For a liquid foundation, I’ll be sticking with the Maybelline Fit Me foundation.
I was most skeptical of the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer because it did not seem like it would be natural 4B/C hair friendly. The primer smells like your typical hair product in spray form. I was confused about what was included in the “10-in-1” advertising as I only saw a bit of shine and additional softness added to my hair after spraying the product. I do not use heat so I cannot speak to it’s protectiveness but it is definitely a product that would most likely work for straight hair.
The ALOHA Organic Protein Bar came in the cutest packaging! It was bright and one of the first items I picked up. I received the peanut butter & jelly bar which is said to have 14g of protein, 100% real food and nothing artificial. The bar actually tasted like peanut butt and jelly and was far from the typical “protein bar” taste. Would I buy again? Not particularly, however I would definitely suggest it!
